Recording Sharks Over China
I helped out in the recording of the band Sharks Over China in the studio on Friday 24th February 2017.
The band is a 6 piece, up and coming metalcore band from Derby and came in to record a couple of tracks for their EP.
In the studio they recorded some drum, guitar and vocal parts for two of their tracks so that they could come back in at a later date and finish the bass part and more guitar overdubs. The guitarist ran the guitar through some pedals before recording so that they could achieve the sound they wanted.
The tracks were recorded and then given to Nathan Hird to mix and send back to the band. They said that they were very pleased with the session and couldn't wait to come back in for the next part.
